The following is a list of issues that are overcome by the ABEL-OCFSync software:

1. Close your browser window, and lose your information.
Accidentally closing your browser window in the middle of inputting form data is more than just an accident: it's a total loss of time and data. Any information you've entered will be erased and you'll need to start from the beginning.

With ABEL-OCFSync, you'll never have to worry about data-loss again. Save as you go, pick up a form later, even create a new form from a template. No more headaches.

2. Navigate away from page, and a form in process is gone.
Closing your browser isn't the only way to lose a form in process. If you accidentally navigate to a new page for any reason your OCF form data is gone for good. And don't even think about hitting the "Back" button - this only results in duplicated information, empty forms, and many other unwanted results.

 

ABEL-OCFSync provides peace of mind through it's easily navigable tab system. Simply click a tab at the top of your screen to move from page to page without the fear of losing anything. It's all there, just like flipping a page.

3. Site or connection speed.
At some point we've all encountered a painfully slow Internet connection while trying to access a website; imagine that same snail-speed when you're trying to complete time-sensitive OCF forms online? What if hundreds of other providers are trying to do the same thing at the same time?

Since ABEL-OCFSync is on your own computer you never have to worry about speed. Work on forms when it's convenient for you because it will take no time at all, and upload them without accessing a single website. All of your updates will be automatically retreived from the HCAI system to alert you of any important changes.

4. You must be connected to the Internet.
The current system is "Internet-dependent", meaning you must always have a quick and stable Internet connection to process forms. This can become costly to your clinic if your service is slow, down, or simply unavailable.

 

Forms created within ABEL-OCFSync are completely independent of the Internet until you submit them to the system. Complete forms when you want, where you want, even if you're not connected to the Internet. You can then go online to upload your forms and check the status of previously submitted OCF documents, all without constantly worrying about your connection.
