My Urology practice is one of the only two that serve patients in Brockville and the surrounding area. Needless to say, we are extremely busy and cannot afford “downtime” when it comes to our electronic medical records.  Nearly a year ago, we decided to switch to ABELMed and I am pleased to say that our setup and installation went very well. 

 

We were up and running within a day. This speedy implementation was partly due to the data conversion that ABELMed Inc. provided. It saved us from spending hours of time to manually re-enter key information such as our patient demographic data, patient notes, last consultation dates and referring physicians list.

 

The ABELMed training that we received also helped us to put the system to work for us right away. Our training was tailored to suit our specific practice management and clinical needs. My staff and I find the program fast and easy to use. We have two computers in my office at Brockville General Hospital and, to help increase efficiency, I also have access to a terminal that enables me to quickly access my patient records in the office while in surgery.

Recently my Program ABELMed v 7.30 would not work and I would like to thank Cindy for her input  and advice in telling me that my Windows operating system was not functioning properly and I had to get the Hard Drive changed and then  had to use the old Drive as a Slave drive before being able to obtain the database files and transferring over to the new Hard Drive.

Then  Mathew took over and he exhibited experience and expertise with patience and persistence in evaluating and finally successfully fixing the problem. The Program now is working flawlessly and with great stability and it is a pleasure to work with it.
