ABELMed users can now access and download hospital reports directly into their EMR through Hospital Report Manager
BURLINGTON, ONTARIO--(July 16, 2014) - ABELMed Inc. is pleased to announce that its ABELMed EHR-EMR/PM v12 software has been awarded approval for the Hospital Report Manager (HRM) interoperability by OntarioMD under Ontario EMR Specification 4.1A. This will enable ABELMed EMR users to receive medical record and diagnostic imaging reports from hospitals sooner and thereby improve the continuity of patient care.
ABELMed EMR users can view and download patient reports such as discharge notes and diagnostic test results from participating hospitals and independent health facilities in real time and save time while offering better continuity of follow-up care. This reduces their administrative overhead and costs related to the handling of patient information such as pulling charts, filing, faxing and mailing.
